The Olympica Returns: Meet the Olympica G3
The headline news this summer: Sonus faber has revived its beloved Olympica line for a third generation. The new Olympica G3 collection is a five-model range — two floorstanders, a standmount, a center channel, and an on-wall — spanning roughly $8,000 to $30,000, and it's the most thorough rework the family has seen since its 2013 debut.
What makes the G3 special isn't just the iconic asymmetrical, lute-shaped cabinet (back with a striking 45-degree herringbone veneer inspired by the Stradivari). It's the trickle-down: technologies developed for Suprema, Sonus faber's $750,000 statement system, now live in a range mere mortals can own. Every G3 model carries the Camelia midrange driver, its flower-inspired geometry engineered to dissolve resonance, along with the Organic Basket chassis and cork-lined internal chambers on the larger floorstanders. Finishes come in Walnut or Wengè, each cabinet hand-finished with aluminum and leather detail.

Amati Supreme: The Flagship, Distilled
Late last year, Sonus faber introduced the Amati Supreme, a floorstander that compresses the voice of the Suprema flagship into a form that fits a beautiful living room. It carries the same Camelia midrange, a silk-dome tweeter and super-tweeter array, 600 watts of power handling, and a rear fine-tuning system for dialing the speaker into its space.
Two new matte-metal finishes debuted with it — Sabbia Oro, a warm sand-gold, and Terra Rossa, an earthy red drawn from the clay soils of the Veneto — wrapping the entire cabinet, front baffle included. Every pair is individually voiced by Sonus faber's master technicians before it leaves Italy. As the company's design chief puts it, design and sound are inseparable — a philosophy we share in how we've built our own listening spaces.
Homage Tradition and the Lamborghini Collaboration
The news hasn't slowed. In February, Sonus faber premiered its Homage Tradition Collection — a trio of loudspeakers built on the Homage platform with custom real-wood cabinets, contrasting inlays, and titanium-finish aluminum accents. And the brand's partnership with Automobili Lamborghini produced the ultra-rare Il Cremonese Ex3me — Automobili Lamborghini Edition, alongside an immersive Sonus faber space at the Lamborghini Arena event in Imola. Italian sound and Italian speed, finally in the same room.
